Steve immigrated from the UK to Houston in 2013. He is happily settled in the Woodlands area with his wife (Ginny) and his daughters Abigail (6) and Hannah (5). He is a dual UK/US citizen.

Steve holds an unlimited UK Master Mariner’s FG certificate. After serving in the British Merchant Navy (1997 – 2008) on various types of vessels Steve gained experience (2008-2013) as a marine pilot, assistant harbor master, and VTS operator for the Port of Tyne Authority.

Working with London Offshore Consultants (LOC Houston) for the last 5 years Steve has handled and supervised a wide range of marine survey, investigative and casualty work (both blue/brown water and in the offshore energy sector) and has gained a stellar reputation for his abilities acting as an expert witness and providing litigation support on marine casualty cases. Also, for his expertise in piloting, reconstruction of collisions and allisions, capsizing of tugs, etc. He will be a very valuable asset to our team when we are called upon to support our clients in investigating and responding to marine casualties within North America, and well beyond our borders.

Steve played a key role in managing and overseeing LOC’s Shipping Team and he will be putting those skills to work overseeing and managing IMC P&I and other cases in the US Gulf region, and beyond.
